Hatha Yoga

Our Specialty

Hatha Yoga serves as the cornerstone of our practice. Rooted in tradition and enriched by the ancient teachings of the Himalayan Institute, Hatha Yoga forms the bedrock of all our classes.

Originating from the East, Hatha Yoga is the embodiment of classical yoga practices. Its timeless wisdom and profound techniques have been passed down through generations, embodying the essence of holistic wellness and spiritual growth.

At Nourish & Move, we honor the essence of Hatha Yoga, embracing its slower pace and deliberate movements. This approach allows us to tune into the intricacies of our bodies and the rhythm of our breath, fostering a deep connection between mind, body, and spirit.

In our classes, you'll find the space to explore Hatha Yoga in its purest form. Led by instructors steeped in the teachings of the Himalayan Institute, our sessions provide a nurturing environment for personal growth and self-discovery. Whether you're a seasoned practitioner or new to yoga, Hatha Yoga offers a pathway to inner harmony and well-being.

Hatha Classes Offered:

Beginner's Yoga

An Introduction To Yoga

Designed to be accessible to all, Beginner's Yoga serves as a gentle introduction to the world of yoga, offering a nurturing space for those taking their first steps on this transformative journey.

Our Beginner's Yoga classes provide a supportive environment where everyone, regardless of experience or fitness level, can feel comfortable and empowered. Led by compassionate instructors who understand the unique needs of beginners, these sessions focus on building a strong foundation in yoga fundamentals, including basic postures, breath awareness, and relaxation techniques.

Whether you're brand new to yoga or returning after a hiatus, our Beginner's Yoga classes offer a welcoming space to explore the practice at your own pace. With an emphasis on proper alignment and mindful movement, you'll learn how to safely and effectively perform yoga poses while cultivating a deeper connection between your body, mind, and breath.

At Nourish & Move, we believe that yoga is for everybody and every body. Our Beginner's Yoga classes provide a supportive and non-judgmental environment where you can explore yoga at your own pace, free from pressure or expectation.

Beginner's Classes Offered:

Vinyasa Yoga

Yoga Flows That Get Your Blood Pumping

Vinyasa Yoga infuses the dynamic flow of movement with the timeless wisdom of Hatha tradition. In our Vinyasa classes, we invite you to explore the graceful union of breath and movement as you journey through a sequence of fluid poses.

Rooted in the foundational principles of Hatha Yoga, our Vinyasa classes offer a faster-paced experience that challenges both the body and the mind. With a focus on linking breath with movement, each transition becomes a mindful meditation, allowing you to deepen your awareness and presence on the mat.

At Nourish & Move, we understand that each practitioner is unique, which is why we offer Vinyasa classes that cater to a variety of preferences. For those seeking an added element of intensity, we offer heated Vinyasa classes, where the gentle warmth helps to enhance flexibility and release tension. However, whether or not heat is used is always up to the preferences of our class attendees.

In our heated Vinyasa classes, especially during the winter months, the gentle warmth of the room creates a supportive environment for exploration and growth. Yet, regardless of the temperature, our Vinyasa classes remain grounded in the principles of Hatha Yoga, offering a practice that deeply connects the mind, body, and breath.

Vinyasa Classes Offered:

Restorative Yoga

Relax and Rewind With Yoga

Restorative Yoga offers a sanctuary of stillness and rejuvenation amidst the hustle and bustle of daily life. These classes provide a nurturing space for relaxation, restoration, and deep healing.

In our Restorative Yoga classes, the pace slows down, inviting you to surrender to the present moment and embrace a state of profound relaxation. Through supported poses and gentle stretches, you'll release tension held in the body, allowing muscles to soften and the mind to unwind.

We believe in the transformative power of stillness. In our Restorative classes, props such as bolsters, blankets, and blocks are used to provide support and comfort, allowing you to completely let go and experience a profound sense of ease and well-being.

Whether you're recovering from injury, managing stress, or simply seeking a reprieve from the demands of daily life, our Restorative Yoga classes offer a sanctuary where you can nourish your body, soothe your mind, and replenish your spirit.
