Monette Shuttleworth
E-RYT 200, RYT 500, Level I Restorative Relax and Renew®, YACEP
Monette is a compassionate yoga professional who believes that the practice of Hatha Yoga is accessible to any age and any level of ability and that its integration into one’s lifestyle may truly transform the mind, body, and spirit. She teaches from the voice of her own experience and is trained in the Himalayan tradition under the esteemed Kate Mackin. Monette holds an additional certification in Restorative Yoga and actively teaches the practice of Yin Yoga. She offers her services in private, corporate, and healthcare environments. She forever seeks to advance her knowledge through continued education.

Susannah Azzaro
RYT 500
In her Hatha classes, Susannah recognizes all bodies have different capabilities and needs and offers modifications that support and encourage students to take care of themselves. She balances just the right amount of cuing with silence so students can better sense the subtle effects of their practice. Susannah finds the infinitely deep layers of yoga fascinating and strives to weave nuggets of philosophy into her classes so students leave class feeling physically better, inspired and curious to learn and practice more.
Sundays 10-11am
A non-vinyasa-based yoga practice that focuses on increasing awareness, flexibility, and stability of body and mind, Hatha I includes centering and warm ups, pranayama, sun salutations, standing and balancing postures, gentle backbends and twists, forward bends, restorative inversions, and savasana. All are welcome, but some experience with yoga or movement practices is preferable.
Dana Ramous
RYT 200, PRYT, and Kid’s Yoga Certified Teacher
Dana has always been very passionate about exercising, but it wasn’t until she was pregnant with her first baby that she knew she wanted to teach yoga. She realized that the beautiful thing about yoga is that you can do it during every stage of life. Yoga meets you exactly where you are and as you are. As an RYT 200, PRYT, Kid’s Yoga certified teacher, and a mom of three, Dana's goal is to help students find balance through yoga, community, a little humor, and a lot of inspiration.
Dana also teaches private prenatal yoga in addition to her regularly scheduled classes. You can book either a 30 minute or 60 minute private yoga lesson with her using the links below.
Jennie Bolas
RYT 200
Jennie was first introduced to yoga at a beginner’s class and became enlightened about the wonderful spiritual and physical benefits of yoga. She completed the 200-hour teacher training in 2013 and has been teaching yoga ever since! Jennie enjoys teaching classes that focus on building awareness of the body, proper alignment, and breath (with a spiritual twist included). Her goal is to make yoga accessible for people of any age and background. She believes if someone can commit to a 10-20 minute practice a day along with 10 minutes of meditation, it can make a dramatic impact in their relationships, career, and health because it did for her.
Tuesdays 7:30-8:30pm
In this class you will receive instructions on the basic principles of yoga and focus on learning foundational poses and breath work. With consistent practice in this relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, you will discover increased flexibility, strength and knowledge of yoga, providing the foundation to move to higher level classes if you choose to do so.
Kara Heinrich
RYT 200
Kara is a mom, a daughter, a friend, and an employee! She is devoted to many people and communities and attempts to give 100% to each part of her life. Yoga is her practice to restore energy, build strength, and return to her many roles with a fresh perspective. Kara’s teaching style focuses on breathing exercises to purify and nourish an agitated mind, asana postures to strengthen and improve balance, and to overall restore positive energy.
Christianne Johnson
RYT 200
Christianne Johnson completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at the Himalayan Institute of Pittsburgh. She has been practicing yoga for over 15 years and is excited to bring the benefits she has seen in her own life to others. As a busy, full-time working mom of two boys, she believes that balance and self-care are critical for both body and mind. A problem-solver at heart, Christianne offers her students a space to reflect and focus, and believes that yoga is about so much more than just the poses.
Mondays 5:30-6:30pm, ETA on start date
Blends the mindfulness and flexibility of yoga with the strength and intensity of weight training. This class is designed to elevate your heart rate, tone muscles, and improve overall endurance. By incorporating free weights, resistance bands, and bodyweight exercises, Yoga Sculpt targets every major muscle group while enhancing balance, coordination, and mental focus.
Megan Gilson
RYT 200
Megan believes that the benefits of yoga extend well beyond the mat and can truly bring joy, peace, and total wellness. She earned her 200 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher Training Certification in 2022 from the Himalayan Institute of Pittsburgh. Megan focuses on cultivatingpositive energy in her classes through breath, body, and mind awareness for each student to find their unique vibe. She likes to bring nature references into the class - earth and sky, tree and mountain, sun and moon - we’re all connected! Outside of the studio, Meg is a music lover (yes, she takes requests for class playlists!) and listens for nature sounds in class to help relieve stress and anxiety, enjoys running, and is often at a soccer pitch cheering on her son.
Veerle Grispen
RYT 200
Veerle is a lifelong student of movement (dance) starting with jazz and modern in her youth and branching to classical ballet as an adult. She was introduced to Yoga in her mid-twenties, and yoga has gradually found a prominent place in Veerle’s personal practice. She received her training through the Himalayan Institute of Pittsburgh and is currently 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Certified. Having lived, trained, and raised a family abroad in several countries, Veerle has a keen sense of how yoga can provide a center that few other movement disciplines offer. Becoming a Yoga instructor has humbled and inspired Veerle, and she considers it a unique privilege to be able to assist people on their way. When Veerle isn’t moving, she enjoys baking, nature, and sunshine.
Amanda Naccarato
RYT 200
Amanda’s yoga practice focuses on mindful movements, intentional breath, and a willful mind. She loves that yoga is a lifestyle that you truly make your own. You can feel free to challenge your body in a pose or allow your mind to rest. Her mission as an instructor is to build strength from the inside out. Amanda earned her yoga certification at One Point One in Pittsburgh April 2021.
Sundays 8:30-9:30am
A challenging vinyasa flow connecting breath to movement. In this class, expect to move at a steady pace to keep your practice fluid, creative, and inspiring. The music will be uplifting & motivating to explore the physical depths of your practice. Intended for intermediate to advanced practitioners.
Karen Ashby
RYT 200
Karen’s goal is to help students explore the benefits of yoga to the mind, body, and soul and believes all ages and abilities benefit from yoga. She has been practicing yoga for over 25 years and earned her certification in 2022 at Holy Cow Yoga in Charleston, SC in the Integral Yoga tradition. Karen also teaches in private and corporate environments. She is a lifelong learner and is always finding new dimensions and aspects of yoga to explore.
Tuesdays 6-7pm
A well-rounded practice that will keep your joints healthy, muscles toned and organs working efficiently, this class helps to improve strength, flexibility and balance. By incorporating breath awareness into the classes, you will also reduce stress, balance the nervous system and leave feeling refreshed and focused.
Melanie Pettinato
RYT 200
Melanie was introduced to yoga when she was in college, and yoga became important to her throughout her early 20s and as an adult. Yoga has helped her grow stronger, more flexible, more confident, and fearless, both on and off the mat. Yoga inspires her to be here now in the moment. Over time we lose the easygoing attitude of our young selves, and through a lighthearted approach, she aims to bring her students back to playfulness, meditation, and breathwork.
Melanie completed her 200-hour certificate with One Point One in Pittsburgh, PA in 2020. She loves being a student and Is excited to learn and explore more training.
Her classes combine breath, movement, and meditation, and often uses props in her classes. She can’t wait to see you on your mat!
Thursdays 6-7pm
This is a slow flow vinyasa class with emphasis on movement, breath, and meditation. This is a slower paced class with the occasional addition of light heat, depending on the class. It is beginner-friendly with modifications for all skill levels. Props are often used in this class (blocks, bolsters, etc.)
Beth Christiano
RYT 200
In addition to her practice as a clinical psychologist, Beth uses yoga as an additional tool to help her patients heal. Somatic movement such as yoga is a great way to help individuals gain a profound opportunity to connect with their bodies, accessing deeper layers of emotion and experience. She has completed a Yoga Therapy training program as a supplement to her yoga training at the 200 level. Beth is currently working towards her 500 level in order to learn more skills to better help her patients.
Fourth Monday of the Month 5:30-6:30pm
This is a specialized class designed to provide individuals with techniques to manage and alleviate anxiety symptoms through the ancient art of yoga. In this class, participants will learn gentle yoga poses, mindful breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques tailored specifically to reduce stress and promote mental well-being. Each session will focus on cultivating self-awareness, fostering a sense of calm, and building resilience to cope with anxiety triggers.
Marta Napoleone Mazzoni
RYT 200
As a Meditation and Yoga instructor, her work focuses on building mindfulness and core strength through muscle activation mobility exercises, while cultivating gratitude, peace, and spiritual connection through somatic breath work and mindfulness practices. As an Advanced Certified Grief Specialist, Marta educates and speaks normalizing grief which is a subject shrouded in shame and misinformation. As a mentor and coach she provides a tool kit to her clients and uses her four pillars of healing: Explorative Travel, Meditative Awareness, Structured Support, and Creative Play to reawaken the heart.
Mondays 8:30-9:30am
This class is a slow flow vinyasa mixed with isometric static holds and muscle activation poses. Calm the mind, access the playful soul while working muscles in the body to build strength as we age. Great for beginners alongside more advanced students. This class is taught by Marta Napoleone, a Grief Recovery Specialist and yoga instructor.
